2018 Career in STEM $500 Spring Challenge and Scholarship Winner Announced!
For everyone who has been waiting patiently for the winner to be announced, here she is!
Cheyenne Darden from Happy Camp High School, California
We’re so happy to announce her as the winner from the truly enthusiastic participation that we witnessed this Spring! We reached out to Cheyenne to find out how she would utilize the scholarship amount. Cheyenne shared her plans to further her college education. She said,
“I would use it for college. I am going to go to a college that doesn’t have a lot of scholarship opportunities. I would use the $500 to help me major in mission work so that I can get my degree and then move to Africa and start up a school for uneducated villages. I would be teaching the villagers math, science, and maybe even English.”
We’re confident about Cheyenne’s success in her endeavours and wish her the very best!
