The first step in helping students know what they want to be when they grow up is helping them find out what careers exist! This STEM Career Scavenger Hunt webquest is a fun, prep-free activity to help your students learn more about STEM career options, as well as finding careers that match their personality and interests.
This STEM Scavenger Hunt is provided as a PDF and GoogleDoc with 26 short-answer questions and comprehensive answer key (for those that have a ‘right’ answer). A Word document version is also included in Spanish. High school students will complete this activity within 90 minutes, will likely take longer for middle school students. Includes access to over 110 different STEM career profiles – all with virtual job shadow video, downloadable info sheet in English and Spanish, and a fun career focused online game/activity. Career pages are arranged in visually appealing ways according to alphabetical, personality, education level, and interest areas. No annoying logins or passwords – just click and go.
New careers added every month during the school year – tremendous lifetime value and a great way to KEEP students coming back for more!
A perfect fit for your advisory/homeroom class, as a career guidance activity, as a half-day fun activity, or sub plan. Students can use this resource independently – a helpful distance learning activity for STEM career exploration.
– A very abbreviated version of this scavenger hunt (5 questions) is available free as an online activity here. This purchase is for the full length 26 question, printable PDF and editable GoogleDoc versions.
– This product is much more expensive than most webquests because I have personally created this website and all career profiles that you gain access to with this purchase. I constantly update and add new career profiles each month, and a notification is sent each time.
